Our vision is that of a generation of young activists connected across borders, recognized as essential partners in peace, security, and global governance processes.

We aspire to become one of the leading international platforms for youth engagement in the fields of peace, security, and international cooperation.

Our Mission

The mission of the European Youth Peace and Security Network is to mobilize, connect, and empower young people around the world in order to strengthen their meaningful participation in processes related to peace, security, and sustainable development.

We are committed to creating spaces for learning, collaboration, and innovation that enable young people to share experiences, develop solutions to contemporary challenges, and make their voices heard in decision-making forums.

Through capacity-building, networking, opportunity-sharing, and the promotion of dialogue, we contribute to building a global community of young people committed to a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable future.

OUR REGIONS

The European Youth Peace and Security Network (EYPS Network) is present in more than 82 countries around the world. To ensure inclusive representation, effective coordination, and a better understanding of local realities, the network relies on a dynamic regional structure.

This approach strengthens connections among members, promotes intercultural dialogue, and supports the implementation of the principles of the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) Agenda across diverse geographical, social, and political contexts.

The network is currently structured around the following regions:

1- West Africa
2- Central Africa
3- Eastern and Southern Africa
4- Europe
5- Latin America and the Caribbean
6- Asia and the Middle East

Each region is coordinated by Regional Administrators responsible for facilitating communication among members, supporting the development of network activities, and strengthening synergies between local, regional, and international initiatives.

Regional Administrators play a strategic role in strengthening the network. Their responsibilities include:

  • 1- Promoting the universal values of justice, peace, and human rights, as well as the fundamental and shared values of the European Union, including democracy, good governance, solidarity, and empathy;
  • 2- Encouraging the meaningful engagement of young people in issues related to peace, security, and sustainable development;
  • 3- Facilitating the exchange of information, opportunities, and good practices;
  • 4- Strengthening partnerships and cooperation among youth actors, civil society organizations, and relevant institutions;
  • 5- Supporting members’ participation in network initiatives, consultations, and activities;
  • 6- Ensuring balanced representation of regional priorities and perspectives within the network’s international governance structure.

Through this regional organization, the European Youth Peace and Security Network seeks to foster more inclusive participation, strengthen cross-border cooperation, and contribute to the emergence of a global community of young people committed to peace, human security, dialogue, and sustainable development.
